Support the Movement to Repeal the Paddle Tax
Donate to Let Us Paddle PAC

Dear friends of freedom and public access,

Oregon’s paddle permit expansion is more than just a bad law—it’s a tax on joy, freedom, and our right to use public waterways without a government permission slip. That’s why we’ve launched Initiative Petition 2026-053, and we’re building a statewide grassroots movement to repeal it.

But we can’t do it without your help.

The Cost of Winning a Ballot Initiative
Ballot measures in Oregon can be quite costly. Although we are operating with a lean, volunteer-based approach, even the simplest campaign incurs significant expenses. A successful statewide initiative campaign can easily range from $50,000 to $250,000 or even more, depending on factors like signature collection, legal compliance, outreach efforts, and advertising.

Here’s how your donation will be utilized:

Event registrations and booth fees throughout Oregon this fall and winter

Printing of petitions, signs, flyers, and educational resources

Website hosting and digital outreach tools

Legal and compliance expenses to ensure we adhere to state regulations

Support for volunteers involved in organized signature gathering efforts.

We are dedicated to conducting this in the right manner—transparent, principled, and rooted in grassroots support.

Every Dollar Helps. And You May Qualify for a Tax Credit.
Your donation to Let Us Paddle PAC is not tax-deductible, but you may be eligible for Oregon’s Political Tax Credit.

If you qualify, Oregon allows:

Up to $50 per individual, or $100 per couple filing jointly to be credited back to you at tax time when you donate to a qualified political committee like ours. To be eligible, your household must have income under $75,000 (individual) or $150,000 (joint). Help Us Paddle This Campaign to Victory
We’re not just fighting a paddle permit—we’re defending public access, pushing back against state overreach, and uniting voters across party lines. If you value liberty, simplicity, and outdoor access, this is your moment to step up.

Thank you for standing with us. Let’s paddle without permits—and without permission slips from Salem.

Sincerely,
